My Commitment to Safety

Why I Care

Intentional living isn’t a slogan for me — it’s a conviction born from experience.

I began my career in the energy industry, working for a national natural gas company alongside pipeline crews and contractors. In that world, safety wasn’t a poster on the wall — it was the difference between going home or not. That environment shaped me. It taught me that complacency is quiet… and dangerous.

But my message became deeply personal after a driving accident caused by a poor decision I made behind the wheel. In a moment of distraction, I experienced firsthand how quickly life can change. That moment forced me to confront something bigger than driving:

We don’t rise to our intentions — we fall to our habits.

Today, I speak not just about distracted driving, but about intentional living. About situational awareness. About refusing to “half-show up” in the areas that matter most — at work, on the road, and at home.

Because the truth is:
No one half-commits to the things they love.
But we often half-pay attention in the moments that matter most.

I work with companies, contractors, leadership teams, and schools to challenge complacency and build cultures where safety isn’t compliance — it’s personal. My mission is simple:

Help people live on purpose so they lead, work, and drive with intention.

Because getting home safely shouldn’t be left to chance.

A presentation that will change everything.

This presentation is for safety-driven organizations, high schools, fleets, and literally anyone that drives!

Jessica's presentation at the Safety Summit didn't just raise awareness about distracted driving; it made the issue personal. She was very engaging and interesting to listen to. I highly recommend it for anyone; it could literally save lives.
